Hi! I am Tina Fanning...

Me 1.jpg

... I have been in education for 34 years. As a middle school math teacher, math interventionist, and Math/Engagement Instructional Coach, I have an intense passion for building kids’ positivity and confidence around math. Learning should be engaging and I use various teaching methods and strategies to make my students’ lessons interactive and fun. I am so excited to tutor elementary students and am dedicated to helping my students achieve their academic goals and take pride in their success.

Why does this person with so much middle school experience want to tutor younger students? It’s simple, my desire to support students who are less confident in their math skills has always had a special place in my heart. I want to help the younger students build their number sense so they do not have to struggle at the middle school level. Goodness knows they have enough to navigate during those years!

When I am not helping kids, my favorite thing is to spend time with family and friends!
